EC internal rotor
Our EC internal rotor motors are divided into slotted and slotless series.
EC motors with so-called “slots” are low-cost BLDC motors, which have a cogging torque due to their simple design.
Slottless motors, on the other hand, are equipped with a copper winding, which – like bell armature motors – have no cogging torque.
Internal rotor means that the rotor sits in the stator and the “inside” of the motor rotates. Our EC external rotor motors are the opposite. Here, the rotor is on the outside and the “outside” of the motor rotates.
Similar to the other motor types (brushed DC motors and bell armature motors), we also have a wide range of customization and combination options for BLDC motors:
Customer-specific adaptation options
- Customized motor flanges with almost freely selectable connection dimensions allow easy adaptation to our customer’s application
- We determine the motor shaft length on the front and rear of the motor individually in consultation with our customers
- Within the scope of technical possibilities, the shafts can be provided with a (single or double) flattening (D-cut), a hexagon or other geometries
- Cost-neutral adjustments to the motor winding allow us to achieve your operating points even under demanding conditions.
- Many EC motors are available both sensorless and with Hall sensors
- We can also supply a suitable controller for testing on request
- Cable type, length and connector are freely selectable
